Going with the flow, magic of human hands.

Hey Reader,

Every year, I find myself humbled by what is possible.

Growing up in a country where everything is so structured, a part of me finds it really hard to just "go with the flow"... YET, when I do go with the flow, my body feels lighter, and the creations I never thought was possible, became POSSIBLE.

This cake design is an example of it.

As I try to tap into my flow state as much as possible, I realize my ability and brain expands (yes! finally something to counter AI brain rot). Here's a sign for you to keep tapping into your inner wisdom.

It is not easy when you are not familiar, but the more you practise the better you get at it, and one day we won't have to wonder how do we live with robots, because we always remember this human magic we get to create with our hands.

Back to this cake design, I remember I wanted it to be a monochromatic color scheme, focusing on soft cream and pinks, that was my only anchor. So I did a few different textures, in different shades of cream (I love having options to play with) and made some of my favorite flowers using my 𝗪𝗞𝗖-𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗗𝘂𝘀𝘁™ 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲, and viola~ I didn't even have this design in mind, it was born in the process.

Abstract designs are getting more and more popular because of its' "simplicity" but I also do think it lies deeper than that. The beauty it exudes is really so unique on its own, and of course, for me, I would always love to add in my own flower touches.

What is something that you love to make?
Please do share, I would love to hear :)

Hey Reader, This is not a new flower to many, but the reason why I wanted to share this is because of the PROCESS of making this flower now, has just became so many times more enjoyable with WKC FloralDust™ Technique🤩 And, not to mention, how versatile they are. Use it as it own, use it as a filler flower to complement other flowers, the ways we can use them are endless. I can't think of how to put it into words that, the painful painting of each petal, veining each small little petal, and...

Hey Reader,Happy July! It is wild to me how half a year has passed. How are we all doing? For me, I took a short break and continued the experiment I started back in Jan 2025. Yes, you read it right on the email title. -After 1.5 years, I am finally ready to share more! (Actually I did bits here and here last year and earlier this year but I was really busy with our Flexible Gumpaste projects and lessons I had to let this take a backseat- but I always believe in the right place and time, and...

Hey Reader,Last week was probably the craziest week I had in a long time- all the ideas that I have been trying for so long that were not working... everything started working! And my hands and brain has been running non stop since. What happened? A mindset shift happened, and I shared it in this personal video: I have been having so many creative ruts in the last year and to be very honest, I do feel dejected at times. It felt like nothing was working- and I wasn't exactly very lit up by my...
